It feels fantastic, it's what I wanted. It was my target this season: prove that the title had nothing to do with luck.

I lost everything in the first part. There were a lot of cuts and I didn't take even one.
"Beginning of the stage was very good, downhill I was pushing hard and had to back off due to the tyres.."

Really big dramas with the car yesterday, but it's working now. Difficult to see the corners because of shadows. On the start I made a mistake with gear and lost some time.

It's fine, clear and dry, beautiful stage. Was a bit aggressive on the downhill section, maybe lost a bit there..

Huge vibration, we stopped to check what was wrong. Wasn't a puncture.. Driveshaft maybe.

Not in quite the same league as in Germany, France.. don't know, certain things not suiting me. We'll get there.
Very good rhythm. I'm learning et enjoying it. The setup is quite perfect.

Had a good run, but I don't want to push the tyre to the limit. Was slippery in places. I'm satisfied.
The car is perfect, but I wasn't confident enough in some sections.

"It was OK, the last part though was really dirty - very easy to make a mistake. I tried to do well and time is OK."

I haven't driven on this road before. For me it was more difficult than the previous stage.

Snažil jsem se jet trochu opatrněji a pošetřit pneumatiky na dnešní poslední zkoušku a povedlo se....

It's my first time coming here and I'm really comfortable with my pace notes so I can push quite hard" / Šel jsem do toho naplno, snažil jsem se zajet dobře, plynový pedál až na podlaze. Je to první solidní čas a jsem moc spokojený se svým tempem, takže můžu pořádně zabrat...
"I think that was a really really good drive. That's the best I can do at the moment. A little bit worried about the tyres but going to go for it and see how long they last" / Myslím, že to byla dobrá jízda. To je to nejlepší, co v tuhle chvíli dokážu zajet. Jsem trochu mrzutý kvůli pneumatikám, ale jedeme dál a uvidíme, jak dlouho vydrží...

Let's see how it goes in the next stage" / Šlo to dobře, možná budem moct stáhnout tu časovou ztrátu. Tahle zkouška byla dobrá, suchá. Jedu prvně na tomhle povrchu s těmito pneumatikami. Teď se uvidí, jak to na nich pojede na té další zkoušce...

Dry and clear for the moment. That's nice. The rhythm is quite good. I'm happy.

I did the best I could. I had to slow down a couple of times because of the dust - I didn't know where I was.
